Handel's Messiah

The “Hallelujah” chorus, one of the most famous pieces of music of all time, stands at the climax of Handel’s "Messiah." Hear it and other familiar selections, including “For unto us a Child is born,” “I know that my Redeemer liveth,” and “The trumpet shall sound,” as the Choral Society of Pensacola presents its annual holiday performance of this masterpiece.

This year, the 60-voice community chorus and the Choral Society Orchestra are joined by four popular soloists: Soprano Carla Connors, mezzo-soprano Monika Cosson, tenor Thomas Rowell, and bass-baritone Patrick Jacobs. Artistic Director Xiaolun Chen will conduct.
